The Grill Master Ones

Ace Hardware was looking to promote their line of grills while also kicking off the season in a big way. We chose to work with famed shoe designer Shoe Surgeon to create custom kicks for dads. The exclusive shoes dropped on Father’s Day and were given away through a Twitter contest. 

The shoes we designed to maximize the grilling experience with form and function. Step-in heels for easy access. Turf insoles to feel the grass between your toes. Blutooth tech that orders more charcoal or gas. Heat changing leather. It’s the only shoes created specifically for standing in front of your BBQ.

Ace wanted to show off their range of inventory and get people to start considering the hardware store as a place where they could get their last minute holiday shopping done. We took what they had in-store and built a version of “Carol of the Bells” using over 65 tools and items as well as five actual employees.
